That just an action from one of my 1on1 with kojn.
I wanted to have your opinion on quality.

Nexuiz cfg : near Ultra.cfg and cl_capturevideo 1 with the .avi.
Virtual Dub Mod compression Xvid : quantizer : 7.50

- 1024*768@30 fps
- no sound compression

Size : 15 Mo
Duration : 30 sec

quality seems to be okay .. the compression isn't optimal ans as such the movie is quite a lot blurred, however, I think that you still have bloom in your scenes which makes the scene even blurrier, especially when it is compressed afterwards. The scene could be a BIT brightner though.

Seems to be like slowmo 0.7

I'm not sure if it was the compression but the offset mapping was not really visible. Well for making a movie i'd use the full visual options including relief mapping which looks better then just offset mapping.
Why do you change r_bloom_* values? i think the defaults are subtile enough, more looks too blurry. Also r_bloom_blur and r_bloom_power do no longer exist.

Cuizi, you got it the wrong way. I recommend to disable all this bloom shit!! to get a picture that is more clear

r_hdr itself is fine, but you should disable r_hdr_bloomintensity or whatever it is called

Well bloom and hdr are more or less the same thing (at least in 2.2.3 they even look very very similar). They have been toned down a bit so maybe you should just try both with their default settings or disable them both

Yeah disable bloom and hdr. I want a clear picture But other than that, the quality was good.
hmmm and it seems like the whole clip was in slowmotion.

Uncompressed audio may make little sense. This isn't something people listen to for hours... and even then something like MP3 192 kbit/s on average (with VBR) should be more than enough.

Video quality looks good, by the way.

quite nice hehe, i see you have view bob/tilt on...seems ok there...but seemed dodgy when i was watching demos so i turned it off, but looks ok there.
