Chase view?

Any advantages to this mode, assuming you're not already heavily accustomed to it from such games as Battlefront II? It gives you a better idea of the surroundings, but it seems like you have more precision in first person mode.- GunHammer

Yup.
The only useful thing about the chase view is to choose your colors.-

Actually at least one disadvantage, at least if you change the chase_up var. Then the crosshair does not point to where you are shooting.HOF:

Pro: It allows different movement than first person view and you can dodge projectiles easier.
Con: It distracts when you are close to a wall or in small rooms, making it harder to aim.4m [PB] (amoebios)
