1.5 demo's as well? a lot of my air content are in these demo's but most of it is with the standard skins and they are quite hard to see.

3rdly...does anyone have a external HDD drive they no longer need / use (I will have to get one to complete the movie, and i'm pretty much skint till april).

Whats the point of the demo- to exhibit awsome frags? to show nexuiz throught the ages? display eye candy?

It's not just a demo, it is multiple demo's....some of my best frags, as well as other people's all put into a community video, to show nexuiz to others, how it really plays like (had some bad press about the movement...loads of people moaned you couldn't turn which is ridiculous)

Hopefully it will attract more players, and give you something impressive to watch


Oh and when i say External HDD, im talking like portable external HDD, Anything 30GB upwards (probably will need bigger then that, 50GB upwards)

Yes, just extract the models & textures from a patch and put them in Nexuiz/data. That should work fine, but the item positions might be a bit different.

It might even work to just copy the whole data*.pk3 file into the 1.5 data folder. 2.0 was just made incompatible because so many internals changed which might break things.

Hm, were there any changes, that break demo compability? If not, just dropping the 1.5 into an 2.2.3 Nexuiz would be the easiest way...
