Every once in a while, when shooting with the Nex (and I think at close range), if you frag someone, the Nexuiz Narrator will say something about "Did Bermuda show you that?" It's too distorted for me to understand clearly, but I think it's hilarious and I'd like to know what's up?. So WTF is he saying, how is it triggered, what's the joke, and are there any more of those quips in the game?

Its 'Did Yoda show you that' and you get that if you hit someone with the nexgun while BOTH of you are in the air..

I assume this is intentional, but getting - X number of points, I forget how many (maybe 5?) seems to get a facetious "godlike."

Of course, I could be mishearing this.

There are following messages:
for reaching -5 frags "botlike" (making fun of our old bots)
for making that many frags without getting fragged yourself:
3 : tripple frag
5: five frag combo
10: rage
15: massacre
20: unhuman
25: death incarnate
30: you have got to be aimbotting

Actually, "botlike" is making fun of the old bots AND a reference to Unreal Tournament, where you are "godlike" when fragging 25 enemies without dying.

I've gotten the unhuman one before. Don't remember when/where though. I haven't heard the death incarnate or aimbotting one though.

I've gotten Unhuman, but nothing higher yet.

Create a server, pump the laser damage up to 1000 or so, and add a couple of "Dumb, Very" level bots. You'll soon enough have heard "You have got to be aimbotting!"

Also, the 'Did Yoda show you that?' sound is played when you frag an invisible player in Minstagib, too. (btw, that was a lot harder in earlier versions when the default visibility for 'invisible' players was 0.00 and not 0.10 so they were really hard to spot, unless they fired a lot and missed).

- 100 = apparently not...

The easiest way to get 30+ frags i have found so far is to play CTF on baconandeggs, grep the armor, machinegun jump up the ledge and fire sec.attack at the other team.. drop down to grab health armor and ammo when needed..

Oh and i think only.. uhm.. special people reach -5 frags let alone -500 so those will probably never be added

It's "seppuku". With a short break between "se" and "pu/ppu". There's a little "tsu" character which indicates that And that character makes two "p" as you always grab the next syllables first letter and duplicate it.

And for you people that doesn't know what seppuku is.. In the old times when samurai still existed, if someone dishonored a clan or generally did something bad They would commit suicide with a knife by stabbing themselves in the stomach. That was the samurai way of dying still having his/her honor. There would be a guy standing behind this person ready to chop his/her head off if he/she wouldn't commit suicide.

Actually, the guy cut off the head no matter what, at least in a ceremony (not on the battlefield). Do you really think that they would want to sit around and watch as the guy slowly drained of blood?
