To attract pro players, put "pure" in the hostname and keep the settings on the ladder defaults. Also, you'd need strong hardware and a fast connection.

Anyway, you all probably have seen the nexuiz disk idea, so I'm waiting untill 2.2.4 and then I'll get better hardware

As for the connection I don't know what I will do... right now I have high speed DSL (no, there is such a thing. I normally get connections of 170 KB/s or so...)

That guy Dresk is pretty good, but I asked him and he only wants to play using his own mod that he created (splidfisk). Oh well.

I don't feel ready yet to play on the 1v1 ladder. I just had my first 1v1 matches within the past week or so. It's a very different style of game than playing public DM or CTF. 1v1 matches are all about map control. I have a lot to learn yet. Maybe in a month or two.

FYI, I play as "fecal spray" in case anybody didn't know and a bunch of people posting here have familiar names. Now I play on the Tech server and the Nexiuz Standard DM NY server, which seem to be constantly populated now.

I had thought about joining the ladder, but everyone is so far away theres no way it would be any fun.
I just cant take high pings....
Am I mistaken in assuming that there is no way to get a good connection to all the euro players?
