I am pleading to anyone in the US that has the capability to run a good, lag free server to do so. Nexuiz is a fantastic game, but there are so few servers it makes it hard to enjoy.

There seem to be at least 2 good US (NY/ met area) servers, not including Spidflisk- a CTF and a Deathmatch one, where I get consistently 60-110 FPS, and are pretty populated- you just have to be at the right time. If you want to find servers that will be fast for you, sort the list by ping, and then choose the one with the most players.

A few months ago, I had a server running (Fusion CTF) but took it down because I didn't have time to maintain it. It was based roughly on Herforst, but I had more maps on it. I since have setup a second server that another player (TVR) is maintaining. It is called Tactical CTF. It's a server located in Florida.

I may end up setting up a non-grapple server similar to RBI, but based in the U.S. and without the maps that I don't like

There just isn't enough of them, that's all. I hit the CTF server, it was fine, just no one there.

They are all on the East Coast.

Ah, I can remember when there was a California server.

It was almost always completely empty, but the three times there was actually another player on it, it was simply amazing.

Why, it was even possible to shoot that one single other player with a Nex.

I will always remember those matches fondly .
