    With this, you finally did it - I bet ZhayTee will NEVER contribute to any free project again. Before, he just expected you to be polite and ask him before you use his music, and said he didn't want to support impolite and rude parasites like you - now you actually damaged his reputation. That is, if anyone takes you serious. I just told a Debian maintainer I know that these bug reports are by you and that you are trying to evade your bugs.debian.org ban.

    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

    The current penalty for rape is insane and not in good standing with what we wish to achieve: a Men's culture.

    How to handle rape then? It is my opinion that the Bible has a good answer, an answer that I totally agree with:

    If a man rapes an unmarried virgin girl he merely has to marry her (the Bible also states that he is to pay her father some money (about 1.5 pounds of silver, $150 about)) and keep her forever. Forever as an obedient and subordinate wife of his (one of many perhaps).

    If he rapes someone's mother or wife etc, caps are busted as he just disrespected his fellow man.

    This man is certifiably insane or a member of a cult.

    nina Reiser deserved to die. She was a bad wife who adultered her husband (and note, the Bible does not (nor does any Men friendly system of law) allow a woman to divorce a man. women were made for Men, not Men for women), a woman who held power over her husband (who is her master (or is supposed to be)), and who used that power to deny him his own children. If this woman is dead and gone then no further harm has been done to our world. If this petty opressor of our fellow man Hans Reiser has been removed then I thank God for this miracle.

    Please pray and hope that Hans Reiser beats this murder rap. If nina Reiser is dead then justice, Men's justice, has been served. If Hans Reiser is imprisoned then injustice, the rule of woman, is proven again to reign in this country.

    I think I already posted something like that last time the lousy M was banned. You can't punish ppl like him better than by just ignoring and forgetting him, like leting him die in your mind, in a way like he's never existed.

    Perhaps this might hit you VERY hard: but USA isn't, too. Though some americans think that, and act like it was ... but you really need to learn to stick to your own problems and solve them first before bothering others ...

    What you should solve? Oh I could think of some: harden womens rights, stop unnecessary killing of ppl, stop harrasing blacks, start teach children useful stuff (creationism isn't useful - it's dangerous), and so on and so on

    And I am sure ... even in the USA someone that is the true author of some kind of work has the right to say what has to be done with his work. The GPL does not revoke copyrights of the respectful owners, but gives others more rights.

  • Hi guys,

    I'm really sorry to see that this thread has exploded into a bit of a shitstorm. It was not my intention to stir anything up.

    While I find most of the things MikeeUSA writes to be deplorable in the utmost sense of the word, I respect his right to express himself freely. He has sent me a fairly cordial e-mail, and I responded in kind. Whether or not he has received my e-mail is up in the air.

    I have decided to allow my music for Adonthell and Battle for Wesnoth to be used under the GPL. This will prevent any sort of hassle from being laid upon the shoulders of the developers or the package maintainers.

    I am extremely disappointed to see that MikeeUSA has taken it upon himself to go all vigilante-style with his bug reports to the Debian project. That is not at all the way this situation should be handled, in my opinion.

    I will be in touch with the maintainers of those packages, and the developers of the projects, to ensure that nothing sticky happens as a result of MikeeUSA's rash behavior.

    Well thats not your fault. That guy keeps coming back here though it was clearly expressed that he is only welcome here as long as he keeps back on his personal/political opinion on women rights. Sofar he was not able to be was banned after at least 6 times after similar ugly shitstorms..

    It might be right that he has that right in an democracy but this is a public forum with certain rules and we expect those rules to be followed. This is a forum about a good game not a place to spam discriminating stuff. He had more then enough chances to 'get' this.

    Its good to see you did not loose faith into opensource because of such stupids like mikeusa. Actually his whole behaviour is just asking for trouble and i'm thankful you did stay true to opensource unlike him.. I just hope its not too much of an hassle to you to keep in touch with those developers and clean up some others mess that was only done to cause trouble..

  • I followed this "discussion" quietly until now. But I have just to express that I am very impressed by your patience and willingness to clean up a mess caused by some ignorant fool.
    Thank you ThayTee, it allways remembers me that there is still hope, when other people keep faith with "the good things" :)

  • I don't realy get it btw. why wesnoth should be removed from debian repos if the music gets closed source. Isn't CONTRIB the place for packages like this? Remove the music from the main game, but add a musc package in contrib as recommendation.

    No. Contrib is for opensource software, that can't be compiled without non-free software.
