the only thing i dont like some times the jumppads go into nothing

tChr wrote:Second: The map is cool, i like it, one of your best by far, but it has issues:
For me the performance is crap. I run around with a constant FPS of 50 or lower. i usually have around 100-110. My config is very suboptimal with lots of RTlights, maybe they shuold be looked at?
tChr wrote:The jumpers are cool, but they will make it impossible to fight against a fairly skilled player, especially with nex and MG so available. the slightest movement in air makes you miss the target, and i guess the impact from a MG is enough to know you off the path. This might be solved with adjusting the lading a bit more into safe xones maybe?

How is releasing a map for testing editing related, dude?

Post anything to do with editing Nexuiz here. Whether its problems you've had, questions, or if you just want to show off your work.
tZork wrote:Try 2.3 latest test build. it runs at 120fps constant with normal.cfg for me. i use a nv6600gt. Rtlights are for the ppl with powerfull rigs and for demo recording. If you dont like it just delete the .rtlight file or turn em off.
tZork wrote:You can shoot back while in the air you know.. And its part of the design i wanted tons of airtime on this one, if it dosent work thats to bad.. Yes the mg impact is nuff to trow you off, bigtime. Theres also enougth speed in most of the jumppads to allow ya to crashland somewhere else.

Yes i cant seem to get that one fixed. LordHavoc tought it was a problem with the uvmap beeing to tight, but that was not thye case. runnin outa things to try =/
