Just downloaded this game last night and got in a few games. I was looking for an fps I could play on our crappy compaq persario. This game runs great for me and is what I was looking for I used to play Quake 2 and this is the first FPS I've found that I actually enjoy on the computer since those days. I tried Enemy Territory but it was a little slow for my liking and the community is very immature though I did find a few servers that were alright plus I don't get a very playable framerate on my crap pc. One of these days maybe my wife and I will be able to afford a real gaming machine. Anyways just wanted to drop in and say how much I liked this game. also enjoy the fact I get some great pings on some of the servers since I'm in East Central Indiana

Well you're missing out my friend. Nexuiz's maps are beautiful and one of the best things going for the game. Its a shame you won't be able to see them the way they were meant to be seen.

I used to also play Q2 back in the day. I skipped playing first person shooters for a while until I found Nexuiz.
