when i run nexuiz 2.3 the screen goes balack and freezes?

  • my pc is dell latitude c610 pentium 3 windows xp pro with 256 mb ram and 20gb hard drive. i dont think i have video card

  • I'm quite sure you do have a video card. The Video cargs (or "screencard) is what makes the images you see on you screen. To find out wich card you have right-click "my computer" choose "manage" select "device manager" expand "display adapters" and tell us what it says

  • looks like your graphic drivers were installed by windoze update. Those drivers don't support OpenGL (which is needed for Nexuiz to run). Try installing real drivers from ati.com

  • If you still haven't resolved this issue. Open your computer, you should be looking at a purple card or pink, most ATI Radeon come as standard pink/purple 2006/07 versions, look for the coding on the card, google it and you should be in, If it's not pink or purple don't worry it's the card the monitor should be connected to, so just look that up.
