As you see there appears to be a selection for campaigns, but I have yet to see or hear such a thing.

Is there multiple campaigns or user created ones, or are the selection buttons just hanging around?

people can make their own campaigns with a CFG (config) file. campaigns are just a few data settings: players (how many), map, time, fraglimit, gametype, and some optional settings may be available (gravity, friction, weapons)

The q3 mappack contains an additional campaign.

Really? Where can I learn about this in specific, and how come I haven't heard of this before?
I'm relatively new, but it seems like this is something that be somewhat popular.

I really don't know much about it, all of what I posted was based on what I see when I read a config file with a text editor.
