You could run a single CTF server and allow players to toggle + - hook.



The new link gun is great ranged defense! It would be great to see on your servers, imo.

I wasn't aware of the new Crylink, cool! Is that in SVN?

I've been thinking about KeyHunt as well, and I may test that out. I think TDM might be a more immediate possibility though, and I think it'd have a higher demand.

Is the new Crylink available as a patch, mod, or just with SVN so far? I'll be moving to the next release as soon as I notice it's out, as there are several features I'm waiting for.

It is just an experiment running on the RBI servers. You can download the mod on the forum. It is now not pink any more, which should solve the "GAY" problem someone reported

(btw as a very minor thing - if you were to rename your servers to:

Galt's Gultch - Texas, USA - CTF
Galt's Gultch - Texas, USA - CTF + hook
Galt's Gultch - Texas, USA - DM
Galt's Gultch - Texas, USA - Instagib

etc... it would be just a tad easier to read at a glance in the server list.

As it is right now the formating is:

Galt's Gultch - <gametype> - Texas, USA

which is just a little more jumbled and takes extra effort to make sure I'm connecting to the one I want not a big deal at all really though, so don't sweat it

I think I'll hold off on the cryo mod for now, but TDM is sounding good. Thanks for the suggestion about naming conventions. Right now, I typically just filter by 'galt' to see 'em. It might make sense to clean that up a bit.

I enjoy running these and playing on them all as well... I'm glad folks get enjoyment out of them too.
