Hi I started playing Nexuiz for the first time this week and it's a good game, well balanced...Anyways my FPS skills from other games have carried over to Nexuiz quite well. I was told I should make myself known on the forums so here I am. I don't know what the names of any of the guns are really but a bunch of people have been asking me what my key binds are and what weapon preferences I have.
My favorite gun is the Purple Energy Shotgun Thing and the Rail Gun/Sniper.
I have Q set to previous weapon and E set to next weapon.
Mouse Wheel up is set to sniper rifle.
Mouse Wheel down is set to energy shotgun thing.

I also want to give some advice to some people. When you are using the sniper be conscious of what your previous or next weapon is after the sniper. If you land a shot with the sniper on someone don't keep it out and try to hit them again switch to a quicker gun and ping off the rest of their health! So many times I have seen people fire like 10 sniper shots and miss after they had both shot each other once. They I come in with that blue energy gun and waste them. BTW the blue energy gun is awesome for pinging away health after you snipe someone.

Hehe, that's pretty much what I/our clan do.

So the purple energy shotgun is called the crylink...That gun is amazing. I only use the secondary fire because it kills so quickly but then I sometimes use the primary fire to ping away the last bit of health if I am having trouble aiming.

Hey guys. Whats the deal with (I)Usil 666. I guess he is like the best player in nexuiz or something by the way people talk about him. Well I was in a minstagib with him and I needed one more frag then Usil pulls off a 1 shot 3 kill and wins it. Congrats to usil....we will meet again. Lol didn't help that Sledge yelled gggggooooo bbbbbeeeeebbbbboooo in the middle of the match. jk. it didn't bother me.

That's one of the reasons I like it so much ... for example, in UT you rarely see anyone greeting a newcomer, heck they don't even bother to say good game after the match . In nexuiz even the most skilled players don't have heads in their asses which makes up a very positive enviroment.

Hello Bebo, welcome! Yes, why I like it to, even when I'm getting fragged to death constantly, people are nice about it, 'gg', lol. Now I just need to set aside a block of time to be able to play again!

From what i hear Usil 666 is one / the best american player around.

There are also other good players but i doubt you'll meet them unless you play on some EU servers, like myself, green, morfar dIM, kyre, bundy e.t.c are just a few off hand who are good DM players, then you got the CTF lot as well like Ronan, xrioui, Mr.Carlyle e.t.c

Yeah I quit playing counter strike source online just because the way people acted was just annoying. I have only met one nex player who was totally retarded and was making lots of racist remarks and one other player who insisted that me and another player were hacking. But what ever.
Does anyone know about getting involved in Nex tournaments?

Oh hey Longhorn. Yeah that was bad luck for me! What does the (I) stand for, your clan tag?
Also whenever I play oldschool I will have the lead for almost the whole game then he goes on this crazy kill frenzy and beats me! Anyways your clan is probably the best I have seen on Nexuiz (probably with mine as second best)
