  • How can I show the final scores in the Nexuiz console?

They are shown on the screen at the end of the game and then when the map changes the scores are lost forever. :( Sometimes I manage to score a few points and I would like to remind myself of the good time :D

Is this a simple config change for the server admin?

  • From Nexuiz/Docs/scorelog.txt

    Code: Select all
    sv_logscores_console x
Where x is either 0 or 1. Prints scores to serverconsole after each match (default: 0, set to 1 to enable).

Will this also print the scores to the client/player console?

  • Oh yeah, this makes me think of a feature that would be great, would be to have the efficiency (kills/deaths) of each player shown after each match, printed in the console.

  • I would like even more info shown - number of kills, suicides, deaths, team kills, flag captures, flag returns, favourite weapon, worst enemy, best victim etc, etc.

I find the whole end of game area could do with a bit of a change. I'm presented with a list of winers at the top of the screen, three or four names in alphabetical order, which is then covered by the final scores.

After a period of time, the next map vote starts, but I usually can't read the map choices, because it's white text on a white or light background. It would be great if a grey background (similar to the scores) could be added to the map vote.

Yeah, but printing it in the console would be a good start and probably easier, and since as you said scoreboard doesn't show for very long, we wouldn't have time to read the whole thing. Also would easier for people who don't care about those stats.

Thanks for that, I tried it and things started to look a little bit better.

The post game experience still needs improving, using my limited skills I created the image below. I used the results from a game earlier this evening on DCC's CTF server and added some extra random data.
