    Skill Level: Intermediate & Advanced
Description: This class is for anyone interested in becoming a Nexuiz trainer. I will cover tips and tools for teaching a class of your own, server set up, managing students and communicating well.
    Date: Saturday, January 5, 2008
Time: 2:00PM PST (10:00 PM GMT)
Teacher: AceOfThumbs - I taught the first Nexuiz Training class, so I know a bit about setting up the server and handling a class. I've been playing Nexuiz regularly since September 2007, with occasional Unreal Tournament play before that. I consider myself a intermediate skilled player. I typically do well in CTF and I'm improving in Minstagib, but I get pretty easily beaten by the best players. I can move very quickly and have a good grasp of the best use of the various weapons. I am good with customizing controls using config files. I use an Intel iMac.

  • I'm sure there will be a class on ctf. I'm going to post a pretty cool script soon that has a new zoom script and a team message script built in. Both of these are important in ctf.

Hey, just noticed that class is in 1/2 and hour! Gotta go.

  • The 2nd training class went pretty well and I hope we'll get some teachers setting up classes of their own. We had -z-, nifrek, Mr. Bougo and BullZilla to name a few that attended. Thanks all.

I have to admit that I wasn't as prepared as I could have been. I was hoping to use my message config generator to prepare some messages for the class, but there a few bugs that I didn't get fixed yet. So I wound up typing, which is slow and not as well planned out. Since this was for teachers, a little disorder was okay.

    Thanks for asking, victim! :D
