Hello guys! Firstly, I want to say that this is a really cool game, and congratulations to everyone who as put their hard work into it.

The music in Nexuiz, especially the one in the 3rd campaign level, is really good, although I don't listen to it much because I have to be able to concentrate while playing. But, I'd like to listen to it separately, or put it in my mp3 player. I was wondering whether the music is available as separate .ogg files (or whatever format it is). I've looked in the game's folder, but couldn't find it. I'm thinking the music is available as separate files because the game is open source.

Now for my real question:-
Is the music available separately? If so, where can I find it?

You can open the data*.pk3 file with any program that reads zip files (it's a regular zip archive with a different extension). The music is in sound/cdtracks/ (as ogg/vorbis files).
