when i get in game mouse will not allow me to look up...........stuck looking at floor? n e suggestions i just installed Ubuntu vers 7.10

Sounds to me like...- +lookdown is on (type -lookdown in the console to stop looking down)
- some key on the keyboard is bound to looking down and is stuck
