My buddy from berklee created these flagsounds for our playing pleasure. Just drop the pack in your Nexuiz\data directory (~\.nexuiz\data on OSX and Linux) and game on!

Hehe, I said the same thing as have many others. However, keep in mind that games _should_ be more balanced requiring more teamplay, translating to - less back to back flag caps.

These are some pretty decent sounds if I'd say so myself.

Agreed. The vocals are pretty bad. The rest is cool

I had specifically requested he make vocals. I believe just having sounds is inefficient and of poor design for the game. Taking it a step farther, it'd be nice if the game were able to say which color flag was <action>ed.

While I'm sure Johnny would be happy to make vocal-less sounds for those unconvinced, I believe we should focus our energy towards early adopters and helping them understand what's happening in their environment.

Are there any suggestions on voice tweaks?

First suggestion: please, release a vocal less version, that would suit me better
Second: Like I said, it sounds like burping. Too much bass, and too much distortion, and too loud compared to the chords under it. The robotic sound is ok (most of Nexuiz sounds are robotic), but a little clearer one would be better.

It sounds like a guy who has a tenor voice which was adjusted to be really low. If you release the vocal less one, I could try to do the voice for it (I have a pretty deep voice).

Can you post a package with your voice for the 4? I'll pass them off to him and let him do his magic.
