The option of watching your demos seems to have vanished?

How is this done now?

You can use the tab key to auto-complete demo names. What I do is set all of my games to auto-record and I save the demos that I want in sub-directories and rename the .dem files to something more meaningful. Then I clear out my demos directory every week or so. So I have something like this...

Nexuiz/data/demos/1v1/mk_1v1_01212008.dem

To play that demo, I would type

ply demos/1v1 

And then I hit the tab key to see all of the demos in that directory. or I could type

ply demos/1v1/mk 

and hit tab to see all of the 1v1 matches against a certain player.

I do think that future versions of Nexuiz could use some type of demo file browser interface. Something better than what was in 2.3.

I liked 2.3's demo feature this is a bit.. Old fashioned and not really n00b friendly. Still easier than quake 3 though. having to play with lag and record at the same time x.x
