Hey there. For the German fansite planetnexuiz.de I'm looking for an up2date comparison of the eye-candy (graphic effects) that Nexuiz v2.4 offers.

Up to now I've used these 2 screenshots that illustrate the difference of high vs. low settings:

However, I know that v2.4 can do so much more, like the nice water reflections, etc. Could anybody provide 2 high resolution (1280 x xyz pixels) pictures that use very high settings and very low settings (but NO gl_picmip please) of exact the same ingame-moment (there should be players on it, just like in the screenshots I posted the links to above) ? The map can be any of the Nexuiz maps, having one that shows reflections would be awesome (I've seen some action-screenshots of maps like ruiner already, they were great, however, I'd need the low-details pic of that, too).

Your help would really be appreciated. I'm trying to get the site a bit updated but I lack the time to investigate some things on my own at the moment.

Would it be possible to (during a botmatch) have a bind that would take a screenshot, then exec a different video config and do a vid_restart, then take another screenshot when that's finished?

About doing them: simply run a demo, then pause the demo (pausedemo command I believe), and then exec your graphic configs, r_restart, screenshot, another graphic settings change, r_restart, again screenshot

As you can see it's quite easy

These low settings look awesome compared to my settings

Well in that low settings screenshot i really disabled about every effect.. i guess the main difference is that i did not use picmip so it still looks quite nice. Not to forget 1920x1200 resolution and 4x fullscreen antialiasing

Well i think for a comparison of high/low settings as Green wants on planetnexuiz.de its better to concentrate on effects not picmip.. After all EVERY game will look similar with a high enough picmip
