I'm not sure if this was posted before but one thing that bugs me is the text color in Nex.

When you are at the end of a round lots of times you can't see the text if you are on a bright part of the map while it's changing to the next map.
Is there a way way to change the color of the text?

Indeed, that happens to me sometimes too...

I then open the console (shift escape) or wait for the next round and use divVerent's chat history bind... Just bind a key to +con_chat_maximize
I'm totally addicted to it...

About the font color problem itself, I can't help, but someone else will probably answer this thread

Another way is to press F3 (spectator), you will see another part of the map and if it's not enough you can still move the camera position.

Another alternative is to set r_textshadow to something like 1.2

Well since 2.4 textshadow should be active by default..

Well do you have textshadow enabled? There is a menu option somewere..
For me it really helps a lot.

But the console is a good enough solution.
Hm, an underlay like under the scoreboard would be nice. And a key bind to toggle the chat on and off. That would solve ALOT of problems!
(And with "alot" i mean spam. )

Edit: Text shadow is not an option for me; too annoying.

bind x +con_chat_maximize
might help but i never really used it so i'm not sure if it does what you want..
