You also seem to forget that the number of potential voters will most likely far outweigh the number of entrants in the competition. Although I do encourage every member of this forum to enter in the Frag Of The Month Compo I don't think everybody will. 'Problem' solved

So how about some less talk of the formalities and some more about the actual frags ? We want more frags !

I was going through some of my demos to put together clips for an eventual compilation thing and decided I might as well enter. Nothing really that special about this frag, done on final_rage. I didn't have a nex at the start of the video.

here is my frag. out of frustration at my sucky performance i played a few maps with only laser. i did way better than i had expected, and even ended up with the top score on this map! this is also my first video... it turned out okay, except that red and blue colors are switched for some reason... anyway, the "shower of gibs' is nice, even if it is blue!

In case you used avidemux the color bug can be fixed either with a filter (Filters->Colors->Swap U and V) or by enabling the option "Swap U and V" in Video->Decoder Options.

Thanks for the tip! I have never done any video stuff at all (save ripping the odd dvd), so I was surprised to succeed as well as I did. And you are right about me using Avidemux, so I will definitely do that next time.

My ISP will never let me load filefront correcly... It's just stuck loading.

Efari: if your PC is fast enough to run Nexuiz then you can also use it to capture video in game. This because when you capture it from a demo [which is the preferred method anyhow] the Nexuiz will slow down the game to capture all the frames. So... yeah it's no excuse really... cap, upload and win frag of the month!

That said, you will be too late for the month of April. The contest is closed ! Thanks to all the people who have entered !
