i downlaoded nexuiz 2.4 but i don't understand how to instal it? please be precise!

if you downloaded it, just extract it, and double click on the exe or run the shell script or whatever

Well you just have to unzip it somewere (with folders intact) and run nexuiz.exe or nexuiz-sdl.exe if running windows, or nexuiz-linux-sdl.sh / nexuiz-linux-glx.sh if running linux or start the Nexuiz / Nexuiz-SDL application on mac..

When i click on the nexuiz logo, it goes error
when i clik on nexuiz decicated a black window comes out and it stop by couldn't open many files, so what do i do? can someone really help me, like real help?

nexuiz-dedicated.exe (i take it you use windows) is just the server which people can use to let others play on a server..

It would really help us if you tell us the ERROR and not just say i have an error.. also did you extract it correctly?

this is why my question is ho do i extract it? because after extract it with 7 zip, i see that there is other files that need to be unzipped... so what do i do?

What operating system do you have? Windows XP? Without that info its hard to tell you how to extract it..

Well then.. if you have downloaded the nexuiz-242.zip file, just double click on it and it should open that Zip file and you see a folder called 'Nexuiz' right? Just right-click on it, choose 'copy'. Then use the windows explorer to go to where you want to 'install' it and right click, paste.. (LIke C:/Program Files/ is a good place for it) Then it will copy/extract the zip file to C:/Program Files/Nexuiz from where you should be able to start nexuiz.exe or nexuiz-sdl.exe

well you have to understand that nobody can help you this way. I'm quite sure when you'd get some disease you wouldn't either run around and cry "oh my god I'm sick please help me , but don't ask any questions, here's my address".

We need to know what exactly the error message says. Error messages are in fact different, just read and post it. Second, we need to know your system specifications. This means CPU, RAM, especially which Graphics card you use. May sound hard, but we cannot help you unless you tell us about all that stuff.

PS: 7zip is okay, and you only have to extract the zip file you downloaded. All other files will be extracted temporarily by the game itsself. Generally it's not that difficult to start Nexuiz. AND there's no "installation" needed like other applications.

You've made this difficult to answer. Esteel has given you clear instructions already. I'll make another attempt....

Here are step-by-step instructions for Windows with 7zip installed:

1. Download Nexuiz-242.zip to my desktop
2. Go to my desktop (Windows key + M)
3. (with 7-zip installed) Right click on the nexuiz zip file and "Extract Here"
4. There should be a new folder on the desktop called "Nexuiz".
5. Double click the Nexuiz folder to open it.
6. Double click the Nexuiz.exe file to launch the program.
7. Smile and play Nexuiz.

If, after folliowing the above steps, Nexuiz does not run or you get an error message, then you need to provide a screenshot of the error message OR type out the message. If you don't do this, then nobody here can help you fix the error. You asked us to be PRECISE in our response, so I'm asking you to be PRECISE in describing the problem.

You can start by posting the actual error message. We can't help you without that. We cannot give you a precise fix until you give us a precise description of your problem.

not even able to get theerror code, anyway i downlaoded Open Arena and it works withouth any problem so i'm outta here...
