[MAP]Alpha2 cbdm2 PLEASE HELP TESTING

  • Hi all!

    So, here's the first alpha of cbdm2... aka...

    Vociferous

    What I'd like to ask you, is to download, play, test the map (it is actually playable, but looks like crap). Tell me suggestions aobut item placement, spawnpoints, ideas about improving map flow etc.

    PLEASE, DON'T COMMENT ON VISUALS! I know it looks like crap, the alpha is for PLAYING test.

  • Gotta love it, it's pretty wide but I guess that's great for epic fights.

  • I like it, with one exeption, some jumppads launch the player against the roof, it's not that bad, but it just anoys me.

    I had a quick test this morning and thats the first thing i noticed also.

    Something else is missing from the map atm also....ill tell you tomorrow when i figure it out.

    By the way i noticed one map that is GREAT for movement...Reslimed, the corridors are the right width to fight in and you can move so fast in that map cause of it...so mappers take note :)

  • Thx all guys :) I'm constantly developing the map (keeping your suggestions and ideas in mind too), but it's kinda slow, I have to learn meanwhile too ;)

    But here's the second alpha:

    Introducing:
    -the crylink and the hagar ;)
    -You can now see you opponent at the glass on the 3rd floor
    -fancy glowy rings at item-healt and weapon spawns
    - +1 25 armor

    What is left to do:
    -Adding more smaller items
    -Fixing the jumppads... I just can't get their power right :(
