Rockets being deflected by the laser

  • Missiles that have health, so they can be shot (based on current SVN code):

    greneade secondary (primary dont have health, fixme?) 10 hp
    electro secondary: 5 hp
    rockets: 30 hp

    again you cannot shot your own missiles with direct hit weapons (sg, mg, nex).
    HOF:
    <Diablo> the nex is a "game modification"
    <Diablo> quake1 never had a weapon like that.
    <Vordreller> there was no need for anything over 4GB untill Vista came along

    rockets: 30 (i remembered that one incorrectly, but collision with any other projectile will still trigger a touch event and therefore detonate the rocket)

    All other projectiles have 0hp and will either explode if they take any damage or can't be damaged. But only rockets have a volume, so other projectiles can't be hit, they can only take splash damage.

  • I've tried shooting the nex at the electro balls and it doesn't do anything.

  • You can shoot the electro balls with the blaster to detonate them. I'm fairly sure you can detonate grenades with rockets too.
    Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.

    It's not the damage that causes the rocket to explode (laser does 35 damage, but a rocket has 50hp), it's the touch event triggered when the laser projectile hits the rocket...


    Oh right, the touch function!
