  • i see rockets from above , maybe you hit the red guy and then a rocket from above explodes near to you = hard push and much speed , but it also looks like a serious lag :P
thats the 2 ways how i would explain it.

wait.. you got killed by your teammate , is that the blue guy shooting with the shotgun ?? if yes , so its really weird

    nice shot, btw :)

I feel like a sea creature grabbed my leg from the center of the map and was dragging me down. Notice the unusual angle I'm moving in.

Meh... if you want rocket clips... I'VE got ROCKET clips!

I have no idea what you are talking about but yes, that was in that match, if by that match, you mean that match in the video.

What about that match? That match in the video is in fact that match.

I think he meant opposed to the other match. Which match? This match.

  • I've been out of the loop for a while... that was the first time I've seen the new hook.

    Very nice! :D

  • Have you tried the hook under test conditions? It's a very odd glitch. Basically, at some revision after 2.4.2, the hook went from grabbing a player and pulling them toward you, and some kind of reverse thing. Now, when you hook onto a person, the hook itself latches onto the point in space where that player was (like the old hook), but the person you hooked is essentially 'pulled' by a vector opposite to the one pulling you. Or something. In any case, it needs to be fixed/reverted.

  • No idea what you mean, for me it works just fine.
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

  • i know the hook behavior was supposed to be changed (i.e. how it acts on collision with walls), but i wasn't aware it would affect other players, like pushing or pulling them (which would be nice, tho).

is there a server to test this and do i need to update Nexuiz to that version?
