I've tried to find the answer without luck so here goes. I setup a dedicated server to run on a machine on my local network. When I run Nexuiz on another machine on my network I see it listed twice in the server list.

The question is, is the server really in the server list twice or is my local Nexuiz finding it listed on the server as well as finding it local so therefor showing as two different servers? If it is the later, then I should join the quickest ping as that probably goes through the local network instead of circling the Earth 5 times and coming back to the machine next to me, right?

Right, use the one woth the better ping, or use its IP directly. In the next release you will be able to see the IP in the server list, and to bookmark your LAN server so it gets highlighted and sorted to the top.
