  • Hello, I made some new ones. Try them and post some feedback. Concept: Functional, plain and non-distracting. I wanted one vertical and one horizontal axis, open in the middle so that you actually can see what you aim at (for sniping) and a circle around it so it would be easy to find (for close quarter). For faster learning of reflex shots. To make it easier to judge angles, distance and elevation for electro second fire and mortar. I thought the standard crosshairs were a bit small. Maybe I overdid it on the size :) Around 95x95 pixels for a crosshair_size of 1 is what works for me. Of the standard ones, I like # 11 best, before it was out I used # 8

Recently I read an idea about an outer ring that outlined the spread of the shotgun (secondary), but that would depend on the fov.

The partly black crosshairs need more work, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I also made a gimmick crosshair for testing colours (sometimes crosshairs have the same colour as the background). Download it on my site: http://www.kanonmat.wikispaces.com
There's a bunch of binds to that one and crosshairs in general in the scripts section.

img tags don't work, so now it's a link instead. (Can I have some forum skills, please?)

    (a k a macrobat)
And yes, Watchmen is the best graphic novel ever. Black Hole is quite nice too.
