Clearly not a good idea to do unless you know anything about marketing. And having an URL as a topic subject on a forum is a BIG mistake.
I'm paranoid about going to sites presented like this. So I won't even go to it unless someone I trust says it's safe

i looked at your site and the first that i saw is that you need (better) forum spam protection.

Hehe, I actually have been there already. I saw that div was there and no probs on his end. So I checked them out.
The i-games website is just plane ridiculous (if you excuse me for saying that Doom). Even template sites usually look a lot better than that. And just creating a site like that doesn't necessarily mean you have web-building experience.

This site, gtpro, is using a CMS which means it's already done and you'd have to fill in the content, and possibly chance some images and stuff to characterize it and not use the template it comes with. Either way, none of the sites suggests good webdesign, possibly if you created the CMS (or your friend) then I would be impressed.

Without proper protection, your credibility falls and so does the credibility in your abilities to maintain a website/forum.
