We need more genuine quality Nexuiz maps.

isn't that new? He started posting here today... I agree we need more maps, but am not convinced that it must be forest or ice.

i mean on Nexuiz, not the forums. i think we have an overpopulation of urban-themed maps. On the other hand.... running around in a forest wouldn't be too exciting. i'd rather have a "rooftop map".

We have almost no urban themed maps. You don't even play the game, if you did then you would know that those snow and forest maps exit: I've made a few myself.

Nexuiz has desert maps, some forest maps, snow maps, snow plus forest maps, scottish highland maps, crazy maps, space floater maps, space station maps.

If you played nexuiz you might know that I, for one (and I believe others do as well) rotate area-theme to get the variety in settings you asked for.

Nexuiz has a large variety of maps. The primary problem with mapping is how skilled the mappers are and the fact we dont have a huge number of them.

Personally, my maps are mostly quite shit. I'm still learning. I do try. Primary problem is design and scale still. Also a lot of us just dont have the time to make maps, I know I dont since I'm at university with a demanding course.

Most of the maps are quite playable at present, the number of maps really depends on the server and game type in question.

I have an idea for an awesome snow map but it's out of my league atm... maybe after I finish the one I'm working on I'll try to tackle it again
