reading through the forums i found these thumbnail images

which reminded me of the visual style of tron!

so i thought it would be nice to have some weird-looking, strange tron-like maps for nexuiz? i'm not able to create maps, but perhaps someone else, capable of creating nexuiz maps, likes this idea, too!

I like that ideal.. it sounds cool.. and could be great for CTF

Turok: Rage Wars, which in gameplay resembles Nexuiz's grandfather, has some maps somewhat along these lines.

They are extremely cool, and would fit Nexuiz well.

I will see if I can get some screenshots to show you what I mean, or maybe some scans of the Official Player's Guide.

in my opinion in the maps above the bright lines look too symmetric, which makes the screenshots look a bit boring - my opinion...

perhaps somebody could make just a simple box with some bright lines, to give an example, what this would look in the darkplaces engine. i'm very curious! ;)
