  • I've heard this many times now, :wink: , and I can't quite make it out. It sounds like "Jonah". Is that right?

    Either way, who is this mysterious person? Some legendary Nexuiz trainer? Is it a secret?

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhh thanks Ed now i get what Glass Joe is speaking about :)
    You get this annoucer if you hit someone with a nex while both of you are in the air.. (and because of a bug also while in water :))

    It does sound more like Jonah than Yoda.

  • WHen i first heard this, and iirc I heard it very early one.. the first thing tat it sounded liek to be was,a nd still is "awseome, did Yoda show you that".

  • I think someone was testing a build of 1.5 and posted saying they thought the phrase was funny, so I was able to recognize it when I heard it. Otherwise I'm not so sure I would :p

  • I think its annoying :) because fof my play style i get it constantly.. several times each match.. and its not that funny...

  • Not sure about the first one. The second one is the 'award' for getting a score of -5.. Making fun of the first nexuiz bots that fall down a lot in space maps and easily getting -5 frags :)

  • I had "Massacre" at 40 frags in a row. Can't remember if there was a sound for it or not. Good old Facing Worlds map..

    I was also wondering what that "Awesome" sound was actually saying, thanks lol.

  • Well to make sure here is a little list of annoucer sounds:
    for -5 frags : Botlike
    3 frags: Triple frag
    5 Frags: Five Frag Combo
    10 Frags: Rage
    15 Frags: Massacre
    20 Frags: Unhuman
    25 Frags: Death Incarnate
    30 Frags: You have go to be aimbotting
    Nex hit with both in the air: Awesome, did Yoda show you that

    Hmm the electrobitch announcer is not used at all..
