New map that I'm working on.

If anyone has some good vegetations picture or can get some, I'm looking for small weeds and grasses. Some shrubs or trees might also be nice. (I don't desparately need any of these, I'm ready to start making these myself)

Yes it is texture blending, no it is not shader driven. IT does however look decent(when done right) and is effectively what the shader does anyhow. I'm working on a preliminary blend set. I have the three textures for the map blended, and that is it.

I was fooling around with my testmap

@mehere101: how did you do the blending ?

Basically I started with the two textures I needed blending in the gimp. I chose what the texture would be used for (IE Corner or linear blend) and blended them by hand. In the end I could get it down to being a scriptfu script if I wanted to. If anyone wants more on this I could write a tutorial.

Just an update: I have some new shots uploaded to my webspace here, All of the shots currently posted were from matches between myself and a friend on a LAN. It's harder to get motivated enough to record a demo and take screenshots of it when you're playing higher lag games across continents.

What's that new HUD? Something from 2.1?

Looks like the standard Nex HUD to me in all of these shots. Maybe you weren't playing with the screen size full enough? Hit + on your keyboard to see if it shows up.

You can also change that things in options/player/view size or via the console command viewsize. 100 is the normal hud, 110 is without the bar and 120 is no number at the bottom.

This is my Sixkiller times Six pyramid.
I ran 5 instances of Nexuiz on my laptop and 2 instances on my old desktop (1 instance was the photographer) to create these images.

HAHAHA! Loil Bobby. impulse 14 is so much easier! XD Did you experience anything 'unusual' ? Dunno... like... broken model skins? Try changing to different models and colors. (i.e. Xolar) I had some pretty funky stuff while running several instances. And Gamma was completely out of control!

Running multiple instances of Nexuiz works just fine regardless of the colors and models. It is a little bit slow of course. But, other than that, I did not experience anything unusual.

Awesome mod tZork- should satisfy any heathy pyromaniac! or nex player (humm.. is there a difference!)

The 2nd taken in TVR mod server, and the last well..er. whats wrong with a little erm *cough* humor!!! (okay bad humor!)

Haha Yellow! You made another pyromaniac jolly happy! Is that me in the upper left corner of the burning pic? I remember when you showed me the face. I was on the other side of the teleporter. Blowing up ammo boxes, rocket mines and tossing stuff around the place was a hell of fun! We must do it again! MEGAHEALTH SOCCER!!! We need kicking. For a weapon. And for kicking stuff around the place!
