  • I just wanted to remind you that I'm posting some of my demos to http://www.rpi.edu/~brandj2/nexuiz/demos/. If I start using up my account space there, I may start posting them to fragtory.net instead.

  • Sure, no problem with that. Do you have enough frags by now? I still have this thread open in a browser tab to remind me to watch for nice frags in demos, the only problem its time/rl (as is with some other threads :))

  • btw, kojak, do you prefer that we rather create some demo packs that contain several frags (in one or more demos) or is it also okay to bug you with single frags/demos ?

  • Fraps is used a lot of capture footage of games

    Virtualdub is a good free video editor program

    Xvid is a great free codec, as is Divx3

    I would recommend against using Divx5 , Divx 6 , and WMV/MS codecs

  • I've recorded a total of...YES THATS CORRECT 6 frags!


    (re-started recording).


    doesnt sound a lot, but thats just Normal POV's and no chase, and i still have bout 40+ demo's to view at the moment, so for now there is some progress :)


    can anyone name me and good soundtrack songs, that they think would be fitting,

    for example

    Songs from Resident evil Soundtrack (i dont want any, since they've been used, the decent ones anyway)

    but similar style...


    no singing if possible please.

  • @kojak : depends on the style of music you like for the frags videos.
    I'm using "Roots Bloody Roots" by Sepultura and Pavarotti to make my nexuiz video, becoz the lyrics are perfect for what i want to do. (nexuiz is a roots and bloody game :) )
    If you are looking for lyricsless songs, i would suggest you to listen to Apocalyptica to see if it please you.

  • Well, I need to send franco a few more frags but he already recorded quite a lot.
