I have some problems with my Nexuiz server.
I have looked around in the forum for answers but didn't find answers for everything. This is what i need help with.

1. My server which only me and some of my friends are going to play on is available on the public serverlist.
I tried to change to "sv_public 0" in the server.cfg and removed the "//" but it didn't work. I have also copied the file into the datafolder as it should be. What is wrong? Is it something I missed to edit?

2. In other servers that i have been playing on the grappling hook is launched from any weapon and have unlimited ammo. But in my server the grappling hook launches from a own weapon and don't have unlimited ammo.
How do i change so the grappling hook get unlimited ammo and launch from any weapon?

3. I can't change settings on my server in game. When i open console and write ccl "my password" it says bad command and nothing happened.

Hope i posted theese questions in the right section.

How do you start your server? Are you using those shell scripts from Nexuiz/server? I see no way that should fail.. Whats your system? Linux? Windows? And what exactly did you do to start your server?

And whats that with ccl?? i never heared about such a command. Were have you got that from?

I use Windows Vista 32 bit and start the server from the file named "nexuiz-dedicated" in Nexuiz main folder.
The file named Server.cfg is in both the map "Server" and in "Data" and looks like this (screenshot) http://data.fuskbugg.se/skalman01/nexsrv.png

I can't find something wrong with what you say or pasted.. Well usually you should copy the nexuiz-windows.bat file to the Nexuiz main dir and use that one to start the server and not nexuiz-dedicated (.exe) but as long as the server file keeps the name server.cfg it should still work!
(If you want to change the file name, your can do that and edit the copied nexuiz-windows.bat fle to match the filename.

HOWEVER: Do the other changes you did in server.cfg work? Like is the hostname (in the server list) correct? Because if you start a client in the SAME NETWORK it broadcasts a signal to find local nexuiz servers on port 26000 (the default).. So even if the server is NOT in the server list it will be found via that broadcast! Maybe your server IS hidden after all but you simply see it because your computer is in the same network?
Try to check public server lists if they list your server. lists like this one: http://planetnexuiz.de/index.php?option ... &Itemid=50

I think you would need to set sv_public to -1 to keep it responding to such a broadcast too..

Oh and all thats 'used' is server.cfg from the data dir.. the server directory is just there to make it easier to find those example files! So you just need to edit that one in data, not both
Same goes for the nexuiz-windows.bat file.. copy it from server/ to the nexuiz main dir and then you can forget about the stuff in server/
