Hi,
I'm using the SDL version on Vista 64 with 5.1 surround mode. The mainboard has Realtek dts connect and is digitally connected to a Yamaha A/V amp.
This all worked fine with Nexuiz 2.4.
Starting with 2.5, it seems that nothing is being output anymore on the LFE channel; all bass seems to be missing. The other channels work fine.
Does anyone experience something similiar?

Nexuiz never sent anything to the LFE channel. If you heared anything there, it was due to your driver automatically generating it by filtering the sound input.
Possibly there is an option in your driver that makes the LFE work with 2.5.1 too.
Do you hear LFE with the non-SDL version?1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.-
