Well, seems like interest in Nexuiz has risen with version 2.0.

Checking the Sourceforge statistics for Nexuiz I was surprised that about 39.000 people have downloaded it in the 4 days after release! Since there are other places where you can download Nexuiz 2.0 aswell it seems like more than 40.000 people have downloaded it in the first 4 days of release

Oh, and on the day of release the site was down for a while - guess what, too many connections

Now if only 1000 people actually played online ,
instead of seeing about 10 to 20 online at most times


45 people that are using Bigpond ISP in Australia have downloaded it off the free traffic http mirror . YAY for me requesting it to get mirrored !!

Indeed for 40 000 downloads I don't see that amount of players ...
What happens to them ? They try it and give up after the first second ?

Well sf.net had a little problem a few days ago. The download started over and over again without actually sending a file, since i kept the tab open for a few mins until i noticed it, it could have counted as 100+ downloads.

Well the new release triggered an increase in playernumbers so i'm very happy for this and we are working on getting more attention of Nexuiz. Stahlemann has started something great, i really hope this will come true. Surprise And the others are trying to get Nexuiz into news sites ans stuff..
