Oi.

I don't wanna make a big deal out of this so I'm just gonna say it. I'm taking a break from Nexuiz. I am starting to lose interest for some reason, forums are not as much fun, community is all messed up with trolls which aid to my boredom, people want to change Nexuiz completely and just generally not playing as much.

This means I will put my projects on hold, however if I feel like it I will still continue to work on those that I have up (Nex weapon and Ivan animations). I do want to finish them but I lack motivation. I suppose my job is another reason for this.

But anyway, instead of just leaving I'm taking a break hoping I will gain the interest soon enough. So cheers peeps till then!

I get burnt out when working on one thing for awhile. After about a month or 2 the drive comes back.

All the small maps I've made are a result of me getting bored with a big map I was making. Some of the bigmaps eventually get done 2 or 3 months later.

Sometimes I just do nothing for a month or 2.

When you come back you'll have new ideas and beable to make great things.
It's funny, the mind cannot ever supply enough good and viable ideas for the hands to always be working (that's what I find atleast).

Think I will be joining you for a number of reasons which I'll only get flamed for here, losing interest and I get frustrated most of the time now and take it out on my opponents.

Maybe if the class based mutator gets going things might become more interesting for you.

I'll build any buildings needed if one wants to have the builder class beable to build buildings (like say: build a sentry towers of various types, maybe some garrisons (that have extra spawn points for team (or just anyone if it isn't a team game)), some "weapons plants" of various types (gun plant with shotguns, mg, and cr, and ammo for each, explosives plants, electric plants), sniper towers, maybe shield generator?

This could be a sub-mutator/option of the mutator.
