    Aye.. I have that problem too. Especially on maks with "platforms" where the fights tend to last some time.

    The check interval is 10 seconds and the damage is set to 100. You start with 2500HP + 100 armor, so it doesn't kill instantly.
    But i've changed the interval for the first check after spawning, you have now 20 seconds until the first check, i had planned that from the start, but somehow forgot about it :)

    Perhaps i should skip the distance check if you have dealt/received damage. (selfdamage doesn't count...)

    Yeah.. that makes sense.. Unless of cource you are good and dont recieve hits :) Is it possible to expand this to anyone els in close proximity getting damage too, so the logic knows you are in a fight?

    Well, let's just assume that if your good you'll deal damage, what will also stop the campcheck :)
    That proximity thing would be rather hard to do. I think damage done/taken will be enough for starters. I you try to nex your opponent and nobody hits... well your bad, you could have used a weapon with splash damage or spread :D

    I guess it wouldn't have worked with 1.5.1 either :(
    I shouldn't change the serversetup when i'm tired... Anyway, it's fixed now.

    Edit: and now the "no campcheck during combat" thing is also in.

    There are picups, no camping damage, and counting up, not down :)

  • Thought about the LMS:

    I miss the health regen a bit. Not that fast, as in the normal gameplay. Only 3-4 hp per sec maybe. It just isn't fair that if you frag somebody, but you have 20 hp left, and then nmy spawns in your face it can kill you with a sneeze. Not to mention, trickjumping is impossible too (you loose this ability opposite your foes.)
