Thats all fine and dandy but i think most peeps are downloading it by mistake thinking it's the latest version.

If you search download.com for Nexuiz under Windows software, Nexuiz version 2.1 is the only version available

Nexuiz 2.5.1 is listed under Mac software and only had 31 downloads last week

  • It's down to the people who run these sites to update their offerings. If they used some kind of autosyncing then they could make sure they always had the latest versions. This is what software mirrors do.

  • IIRC there's a floating "update now" window in the game.
Also, the docs in Nexuiz tells clearly where to look for new updates: the official site.

Should they be updated to have the latest release?

Here is an example at download.com
    http://download.cnet.com/Nexuiz/3000-7420_4-10504796.html
    It's version 2.1
Last week it had 124 downloads

i've archived every version on my harddisc.

Good. That way when the Interweb gets destroyed by baddies we can all come to you to get the obsolete versions of Nexuiz that we crave.

    Bookmarked.
