Hi,

I'm an AussieNexers admin, my main job is the running of our Tournaments. I'd really like to find out what Duel Maps the NA and Euro communities think are great for competitive play. In our latest tournament (A 3v3 Medley Tournament) we had this list of duel maps:

• soylent
• aggressor
• final_rage
• toxic
• warfare
• aneurysm
• stormkeep2
• aerowalk (cpm22)
• dismemberment (cpm12)
• shaft area (cpm17)
• use and abuse (cpm3a)

So if you really like a map not on that list (we are particularly interested in maps that aren't packaged with Nexuiz) please post it here!

except for the hlac.....

maybe ... just maybe you havent played bloodrage. if you did you would notice that the halc is a good weapon for close combat in small rooms

open the map file of aneurysm with the netradiant and you will its not the case.

i think k0jak is saying he hlac is to ezpk. poke me on irc some day when you (and me) got time and we will try to sort that kojn. Whats so bad with aneurysm tough? sure its got access to the central area from all over, but thats the charm of it

We will get the participants to vote on different map lists before the start of the tourney, which is why I'm looking for a wide variety of maps to vote on . So yeh, if a map is not so good it probably won't make it in to the final pool.

The ones I like to play are:
Bloodprison
Darkzone
Basement
Use and Abuse (don't remember the cryptic q3 name for it)
Soylent
Runningman (original)

Looking just at the maps shipped with Nexuiz, I would replace stormkeep with stormkeep2, and I'd add "reslimed" and "runningman_remix".

Ah whoops, that was a typo. We were using stormkeep2 rather than stormkeep .
