Running on a similair setup as DCC but just playing CTF probably....
If your interested in getting involved let me knowOnly Plays Nexuiz these days.
And only plays on euroCTF Server :-D- djSupport

i think the only ctf server i've seen in europe is simba, there is another one or two but they are minsta hook. go for it. what does it take to rent such a server? is it possible to run a small server on an average pc? forgive me im ignorant about this.- Code: Select all

Theres DCC's Servers running TDM,DM,CTF and 2 hidden servers for 1vs1 etc this is a eurpean server but alot of the time full,
To run a server on your home network would mean you need a very fast network which generally isnt availible to us

I think one of the other problems with running a server over ADSL other than the crappy speed (most places) is that ADSL has a fairly high rate of errors etc. unlike a proper dedicated line which for hosting is not so good.
If I ever get that promised 10/40mb connection though I'll probably host one up
Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.

Well the planetNexuiz.de (tdm, ctf and cubeowls FFS) servers are also located in europe (obviously) but right now running the development version.. (and two votable ladder servers running 2.5.2)
They used to be much more popular, but feel free to play there..
In case 2.5.2 is more fun, tell me then maybe i'll switch at least the ctf server.-
