Where is everyone?
Did Nexuiz suddenly stop being fun or did it become perfect enough so that everyone just felt that it didn't need any more discussion?
Note to developers: How is it going with the game? What marvels do you have in store for us next? Whatever it is, thank you.

So Nexuiz is still very active.

Well, there's a couple of things.

My framerate is extremely erratic. It ranges from something like 10-200 fps on the same map.

I couldn't make 1.5 run well on my junky computer, so I never played it. Now that I am able to sort of play Nexuiz again, I realize that I don't really like the balance changes that were made in 1.5.

It's been a while since I checked, but there seems to be a shortage of populated servers on my continent. With spash damage weapons, it's somewhat possible to play on overseas servers, but it can be difficult, especially against a skilled opponent who isn't suffering a ping of 250. If the Nex is in the weapon line-up, it's an exercise in hair-pulling frustration and I might as well go play stupid flash games at newgrounds instead.

speakin of us gamers, someone needs to poke insdemacgames and macgamer. they had great nex coverage,at least img did, before it came out, when it got released, pretty much nothing. I actually posted nex 1.2 on www.macgamefiles.com myself lol
