reasons for showing the trailer.

To show you that work is in progress, and to give you an insight to what you can expect.

To show some editing skill so that others (cuizi in particular) can see some editing towards synching video to audio and hopefully encourage more videos.

To show aspects of quality and compression.

To hopefully make a good impression for the final movie

To get you licking your lips,

and most importantly to keep you waiting

...and for already collecting some critics if there's any

I dunno but is this the thing you where talking to me about kojn? Cause I've been looking through my demos (only two that works as the other two were played with a different version and my nex crashed )

But anyway, instead of starting a new thread I'll post it here. There's two demos, 2on2 and 1on1. I'll start with the 2on2 and before posting any (what I think are good frags, not sure) there's a little system I have set up. As I've never actaully seen and good frags I don't know how they look like so I just assume. You decide whether they are good or not. Here's the system:

time = Ok
The rest of the frags (which aren't even included) = Not worth the trouble

Yeah, films in games are good. Better than most games cutscenes. Been watching a bit of the Seal of Nehahra recently. That goes on for about 2 days!

Btw.. how would a trailer for Nexuiz look like? I mean, is it for promoting purposes such as showing off the maps, the quality, particles etc. or are you talking about a Nexuiz Frag Movie? Cause if it's the latter I wouldn't call it a trailer

Ok, I've talked to morfar and apparently extravaganza is even more extravaganza than those frags in those movies. There might be only one frag (with laser on the 2on2, 2nd map) frag that might be extravaganza. But but, no sweat. I recorded a fun practice match against narvik and there are lots of nice frags but I don't know if there are any "extravaganza". Maybe only one here too and that's the 3rd map (Darkzone) at about 11.00 where I kill him when he's in air.
Then there's lots of prediction and other nice frags such as at 9.35 and when he's in the MH room and I spam mortar through that hole which is nice.

But morfar also told me you don't like prediction frags.. it's up to you
