and on facing_worlds my record is 8.3????

I realy hope that record is wo hook, becouse those ways won't work in the final

Brutail: I saw him moving that fast without any Grappling hook on Nexface Beta1k, he inded manages it to do a cap in about 8-9 seconds which I can just do using the strenght power

I'm sure i can do a sub 7 seconds cap on runningman with a better start.

I'm not surprised on face...but 8-9 seconds is extremely quick, if you just use laser constantly though im guessing to gain massive speed it can be done like that.

You people rock. My best on Running Man is 9.45.

yeah a sub 7 seconds cap on runningman is not impossible, but i dont get the middle part very well.

on face it was almost a perfect run but i messed up the entrance to my tower, so i think its also possible to make there a sub 8 seconds cap.

A grenade launcher can work wonders! Just did Running Man with 8.5. I would love to see your demos.

i'll upload mine for you, i only used the laser, but you should be allowed to use any weopen that is on the map

and also if you guys didnt know, if you laser jump off the right jumppad, you can fly all the way from the jump-pad to the flag, i'll upload a demo.

good solid laser jump from the flag (im sure i can speed this bit up), laser hit off the corner bit in the middle, fly along hit the ground another laser jump and into the flag,
obviously this can be sped up i think with more laser jumps, but it gets innacurate and hard to control unless you practice.

Uum... what the hell are yo uguys talking about? Runningman cap? What you mean by cap? ^_^ Running around the map, doing tricks or just plain staring at the sky? I would love to see the demo though my inet at home is not functioning right now so I can't download nor play anything online . Also accidently deleted a demo when I was playing 1on1 with morfar... damn. I wanted to watch it as playing with bots with godlike is way to easy. I would gained more experience watching the morf-demo ^_^

And btw.. it's 04.46 and I haven't slept so I might get off track of what I intentionally was going to say

EDIT: Hmm I just got an idea.. I'll try download Nexuiz on the school computer (I have my own computer and full rights). Hope i'll work, though the mouse and keyboard will keep me down. But it's only for watching demos purposes.

Bad koj! Well, capturing a flag with the most efficient time also depends a lot on the spawning site. Or do you mean that you start from your own flag and then go to the enemy's flag?

EDIT: Nexuiz seems to work on my school computer, however, I have a few issuses which I won't even bother trying to figure out. One is that no servers are listed (cause of the school firewall or whatever which is not a suprise).. but the other more wierd one is that no matter how high gamma I chose, it doesn't seem to want to work :/ I usually have higher than the original but whatever. The brightness and contrast works though so I'll need to trim that a bit. But the main thing is that demos work which they do ^_^

Another knob you might want to try is r_hdr_scenebrightness in the console.

Either the variable divVerent mentioned or you can check if v_hwgamma is set to 1. This does not work for dual monitors on windows.. Windows IS A HUGE SINGLE BUG WHEN IT COMES TO GAMING

The caputre time is measured from the moment you pickup the enemey flag to the moment you touch your own and capture it. So it does not matter were you spawn.

Aah, that may explain it, I have dual monitors here at school. Both r_hdr_scenebrightness and v_hwgamma is set to 1 (or above for the brightness) but they do not work. Win sucks.

r_hdr_scenebrightness can and in your case should be higher then 1
normaly i have
set "v_hwgamma" "1"
set "v_gamma" "1.5"
set "v_brightness" "0.1"
set "v_contrast" "0"
the last time i used a dual monitor windows that was almost as good:
set "r_hdr_scenebrightness" "2"

Nope, it doesn't matter how high the number is, r_rhd_scenebrightness won't work. All the other commands (or menu) works. But v_hwgamma 34 give almost the same result as gamma 2.05 for me ^_^ yay

I always thought v_hwgamma is just a toggle to enable 1 / disable 0..
You have 2.x? r_rhd_scenebrightness just has to work
