A few guys on the irc channel asked if there was anywhere they could get demo's from,

might be a good idea to put some links to some of your better games guys, so people can watch?

i know pancake and someone else asked for mine, so once i get my newest, and better demo's uploaded i'll post the link here, since they show some nice movement and prediction, spawn point knowledge e.t.c (not just running around like a berserk now )

im still running around like a berserk or to be more precise like a nervous kolibri on coffee overdose so i dont think my demos would be of any use! XD

Please note that 2.1 demos CAN play back much more fluently when they are being watched with cl_movement 0.

If they were recorded using cl_movement playback smoothnes usually improves when setting cl_movement to 0 while playing it back

when the demo was recorded without using cl_movement it doesn't matter which setting you use when playing it back

Client-side movement prediction. It predicts how you move to compensate for network latency, since everything is done on the server.

Just wanted to bump this thread up. Might be fun for the new people here to watch others' demos. Plus, I have a few new ones. I always name my demos with the current date I play. I regularily put up new demo's from time to time. (My latest is in 1on1(ish) folder against morfar (fun_play)).

Also, I am soon planning on making a movie, or fragmovie or some kind of movie with demos so others would be nice, doesn't matter if they are newbies or not, as I have not decided what kind of movie it will be.
