Can there be something build in the new Nexiuz version so that all your kills and deaths ever will be sent to a ranking server and calculated into a fragrate...

Thats just useless information.. and i guess it would be very easy to hack it.

Have you considered the dis incentive of this idea ?

it could encourage people to choose servers with less experienced players, and only fast weapon like the Nex, in order to get good stats.

it also maybe deter people from joining in with better players for the same sort of reason, it would actually bring their fragrate down.

if ppl took this attitude seriously then the game itself would suffer as ppl would always be seeking out easy points, not a good game experience.

ok, that's indeed a big problem when the fragrate would be tracked...
Meabey we just should leave the game like it is now without average fragrate

Yeah i'm not a fan of fragrates.. it takes out the fun. I think what we currently have is much better. And besides its just a game, not a statistic

I'm working oon a detailed stats system on my cpius free time. The stats will be detailed enough for you to create any rate you like.

Yeah but it will just work on your server then.. the OP idea was to collect that info from every server
Make sure to take a look at divverents 'spamlog' in svn

thge overall plan is to make it wrok agains a central log-in server, but the creation of the ladder server has postponed the plans somewhat

I hope it won't clash with my logging I added to Nexuiz, which logs every frag with weapons used, runes/flags/powerups held etc.

yeah I like the extensive thing, but wouldn't it be a better idea that everyone has to create a acount so that no-one is scamming someone else?

its not a better idea, its an absolute demand. Thats why the stuff I'm working on must be an estension. It involvest too much thats not really a part of the game.
