A ranking list? Never heard of such a thing. Can anybody answer my question please

The ladder is a project there players can challenge each other and put the results onto the ladder system. The system then keeps a raking of the players telling who supposedly is the best at all times.

is this for some reason strictly 1v1 or is there room for teams?
I would very much like to play some 2v2 or 3v3 matches sometime

it is strictly 1on1 ... I don't have enough time to rewrite the script so that also team-vs-team is supported...however, perhaps I will do it, but not within the next few months I guess

There is also a 1on1 ladder up on PlanetNexuiz now. You can register there and challenge other Nexuiz players, and discuss the ladder here.

Joined but might take a while for me to work out how to use it and get a match together. I need to buy a new mouse before I play seriously again, my right mouse button doesn't work too well currently!

What about those stats signature images like xfire? Would be nice to have them and links so we can challenge each other on the forums.

Its not hard to get a match together. Its currently harder to get a nice server for the match. There are a few settings that just make sense for a ladder match but that are not standart.. Also its good to have a server with just maxplayers 2 so noone can disturb the match. There are not many servers. If you are lucky you might use the planetnexuiz.de 1on1 server..
Those signatures are nice but xfire does not support Nexuiz.. although there have been numerous requests! So we would need to create those stats ourselfs. Would a php script that searches all the server and adds the online time work? Maybe someone wants to do it.

Nice ladder anyhow, quite a few signups, after a few games, and lots of practice on maps, i will shortly be challenging some of my own clan members...you know who you are!
