very choopy video. looks like the maker used fraps haha , or some other "external" software to create the clips, instead of using Nexuiz's built-in video recording funktionality

I'd say it's generally ok to upload stuff to youtube, but imho it's better to save as an external avi too, and upload it to somewhere...

What you should consider the next time (maybe re-record the whole video?)

-Turn off all hud, chat and system messages - these can be achieved with the proper console commands.
-Use DarkPlaces's built-in video record feature: that way you can produce high quality (as ingame graphics) videos, no matter how much framerate the actual video gets.
-Smooth out the effects
