  • I'm happy with 2.5 movement physics, but the machine gun was nerfed the most of all and may as well be useless now, imo.

    The balistics and the slightly higher spread on the machine gun's secondary fire makes the machine gun horrible at medium to medium-long range, where it really shined in 2.4.2. I used to slay hordes of players just by standing back, keeping my crosshair on them and holding RMB to kill them with a steady, accurate, and deadly flow of bullets. It never did the high burst damage the Nex could, but in the hands of someone who played smart, it did it's job at medium to medium-long range just as well as the nex could at very long range.

    It was also a joy when players noticed me using the MG's secondary fire exclusivly, so they decided to get close to me thinking I couldn't kill them with the MG and at that rate of fire. So I usually sprayed people in the face or switched to the laser or other weapon that could repel and enemy to put them at a distance so I could finish them off with the secondary fire of my MG.

    The MG was really underestimated back then, but now it is total crap for anything but shooting somebody who is 2 inches away from you.

    I voted other because the MG should be restored to it's former glory, or at least closer to it.

    Well said, I really hope you listen to this information.

    Even in 1on1 i grab this weapon when I can, but it's pretty much pointless for me to use now, I was aiming on s0rk briefly in warmup as he was going on jump-pads on evilspace, aiming on him, and i think I hit him twice in total.

    It's completely useless now unless you have a low-ping also. Ballistics or the gravity change, or whatever was done to it, completely ruined it.

    Please change it back, or as Anarkist says, 'close' to it's former glory.

  • Is the Havoc physic with ODE Objects ? °_° Couldnt we not do multiphysic engine because CPM seems to be good for nexrun. I like also the current physic and with that ODE Object Stuff i spoke about with -z- I think in the nexuiz irc channel. Sounds very interesting too.

  • Look here for definition of the word 'almost'.
    Spelling is irrelevant.
    It is still not GPL compatible, so thats a big negative on that, little trail hand.
